Commencing the preparation towards the upcoming Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) examinations for Class 10th and 12th, a team of Gazette Officers were allotted their duties regarding the upcoming RBSE Examinations.  The appointed Gazette Officers have started taking the necessary precautions towards the safety of the Question Papers.

In all, 172 Centers have been selected as Examination Centers, of which 153 are Government Schools and 19 are Private Schools.

On Monday, 3rd March, the Officers went to 148 examination centers for pre-inspection and kept the copies of the Question Papers at the local police stations.

Copies of Question Papers for the remaining 24 centers will be delivered for custody on 10th March, as these centers will serve as venue for only Class 10th Board Exams.  The Class 10th RBSE Board Exams are scheduled to be held from 13th March – 24th March.  The Class 12th exams are being held from 6th March and will end on 29th March.  The results of both the Examinations will be declared in June.

As per Krishna Chauhan, District Education Officer, a total of 34,737 students will appear for the Class Xth Board Examinations this year.  Apart from this 310 Students will appear for the special exam of Sanskrit (Primer Exams) at the same centers.

Krishna further added that 18,485 students will take the Class XIIth Examinations and 85 students will be appearing for the Varishth Upadhyay exam.
