UGC Approves Grants worth Rs 47.5 Lakhs to 7 MLSU Faculty members

University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved and sanctioned financial support to seven faculty members from various departments of Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur for research projects. Vice Chancellor of MLSU, Prof. I. V. Trivedi congratulated all faculties for the achievement.

Professor Sharad Shrivastava, Dean, College of Social Science and Humanities informed that this time UGC has offered grant to both small and big projects from their college.

Professor Madhav Hada of Hindi Department will get Rs. 6.5 Lac for research on Muni Jinvijay’s life works.

Professor P. M. Yadav from Department of Sociology will get Rs. 8.5 Lac to conduct research on the effect of Information Technology in Tribal area.

Professor Neeraj Sharma from Sanskrit Department will get Rs. 7.5 Lac for research on the development of Sanskrit Literature.

Dr. Jinendra Jain will get Rs. 5.5 Lac for research on Prakrat Literature

Dr. Naveen Nandwana from Department of Hindi will get Rs. 1 Lac to perform research on Dadu Dayal.

Dr. Hanuman Prasad from Department of Management Studies will get Rs.6.5 Lac to do research on Finance Education.

Dr. Hemendra Singh Dhaka from Dept. of Physics (College of Science) will get Rs. 12 Lac to conduct research on thin film and its role in development of Solar Energy.
