The Class 12 results of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education was announced on 25 May at 2pm.
The Board also issued details of the Marks Verification and Re-evaluation Process today along with announcing the results. The process for applying for Verification and Re-evaluation will begin from 26 May. The circular issued by the board mentions the following with respect to the Verification, Re-evaluation, Mirgration Certificates and Marksheet procedure.
- Students who have appeared in the Higher Secondary Certificate (Ed. 12th) examination must submit the collated marks and photocopies of the answer sheets in any particular subject out of the compulsory subjects (other than category subjects) to the concerned departmental board for re-evaluation, through online mode through the official website of the board or through the junior college. For this, the necessary terms / conditions and instructions are given on the website. Applications for checking of score can be made online on the website from Friday 26 May to Monday 5 June, whereas Applications for issuing of Photocopy of Answer Sheet and subssequent re-evaluation will be accepted from Friday 26 May to Wednesday 14 June. Fee can be paid online through Debit and Credit Card, UPI and Net Banking.
- For candidates who want their answer sheet photocopies and subsequent re-evaluation, have to submit the request for re-evaluation within 5 days of receiving the photocopy. The request has to be made to the concerned department through the process mentioned on the given website and contact the concerned department for further instructions.
Class Improvement
- Two opportunities will be made available under the Class Improvement Scheme for students who have appeared in all subjects and passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (12th) Examination held in February-March 2023.
- The application forms for Class Improvement can be filled online from Monday 29 May. The improvement examination will be held in July-August 2023. A circular in this regard will be issued separately.
Marks Sheet and Migration Certificate will be distributed to the students who appeared in the Higher Secondary Qualifying (12th) Examination in February-March 2023 through their Higher Secondary School / Junior College on Monday 5 June at 3pm.
Summary of Results
A total of 14,16,371 students appeared for Maharashtra HSC 2023 and of them, 12,92,468 have passed the exam. The overall pass percentage is 91.25 per cent.Girl students have performed better with a pass percentage of 93.73 per cent, compared to 89.14 per cent of boys.
