Udaipur’s esteemed Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College established in 1956 was conferred with North India’s Outstanding Technical Institute award by National Institute of Technical Teacher’s Training and Research, Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India.

The institute has been selected keeping its past 3 years records of accomplishments. Out of a total number of 4500 institutes from entire north India of 8 states, Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic has emerged as winner.

The award ceremony was held at Chandigarh on 30th December, 2014 in which Vice Chancellor of Punjab University Dr. A.K Grover, Padma Bhushan Dr. K.K Talwar, Director of NITTTR Dr. M.P Punia, MHRD’s Deputy Secretary P. Shashi Kumar and Chairman of the Award Committee Dr. S.K Dhameja presented this award to the institute.

VBP is the only institute in India that provides Post Diploma in Rubber Technology, besides providing 3 year diploma course in 5 subjects. Also, under CDTP scheme of the Indian government, the institute provides 500 students, every year with skill development training without any cost.
