Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology’s FRM Department, College of Home Science is organizing a 21 day long winter program on ‘Drudgery reduction technologies for farm women and farm workers to enhance efficiency, productivity and occupational safety in agriculture.’

The program was inaugurated by Prof. OP Gill, Vice chancellor Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology. According to him, women farmers are the source of our economy and their cooperation is a must for the growth. High technology is one way to procure this.

Subjects like home science, science and farming were discussed where use of scientific methods could be used for the growth.

Scientists from Jharkhand, MP, UP, Punjab, Gujarat, Orissa and Rajasthan are participating in the program. The inaugural function was presented by Dr. Arti Sankhla, Dr. PL Paliwal and Dr. SK Sharma. Dr. Hemu Rathore and Dr. SS Meena also presented their views in the program.
