In a bid to give a makeover to its FM network, Rajasthan Patrika’s radio station “Tadka” has undertaken major changes to its programme content.
FM Tadka has gone retro starting Sept 25. The station will not only play retro music from Hindi music but also the retro songs from the English music industry.
Tadka’s programming head Praveen Sharma informed media that they have been trying different concepts every now and then and this was a completely new experiment for them.
The programme names will continue to be the same but the content has gone a dramatical change. Tadka has been flirting with the retro idea for quite some time now. It ran “Tadka Rewind” some time back wherein it played music from the 50s to the 70s era. It also ran a series on cassette music wherein music was played from 80s till 2000.
