Jointly organized by J K Lakshmi Cement, J K Puram Sirohi and Mine Safety Directorate, Udaipur, 36^th Mine Safety Week began today at CTAE premises. On the first day of it, 37 mines participated and presented live demo on the safety issues, which thrilled the guests.

Chief Guest on the occasion was Mine Safety Director, S M Suthar, who emphasized on using new and safer techniques for mining.

Program consisted of a colorful parade and demo of the swift action that should be taken in a mine if a worker gets injured. Mines Manager, A K Jain said, “The best performers of today will be felicitated on the annual function at Sirohi”.

Vice President of J K Lakshmi Cement, P L Mehta also emphasized the implementation of the new techniques by the miners. Senior MD, R S Nyati welcomed the guests while MD, Praveen Lodha delivered the vote of thanks to all the guests and participants.
