Udaipur Tales International Storytelling Festival is organized by Ma My Anchor Foundation every year.  This year, the a three day festival has been organized from 11-13 November 2022 at Bambusa Resort on Sajjangarh Road. The 'Open Mic for Upcoming Storytellers' session will be held every day between 5 to 5.45 pm at the venue and the winners will get a session pass.

Co-Founder Sushmita Singha, in her address to media sid that the magic of National and International stories will be spread in Udaipur for 9 consecutive days. The objective of this event is an attempt to popularize the oral tradition of storytelling. Some well-known names in the world of storytelling will be performing in Udaipur Tales. TV and Film Actor Vinay Pathak, actress Sushmita Mukherjee, Dr. Samthiya Fernando from Sri Lanka, Santhusia, Dastango Himanshu Bajpai from Lucknow, theater artist and Aadhar Khurana from Prithvi Theatres, Prithviraj Choudhary of Universal Music, Sufi singers Ruhani Sisters, foreign puppeteer Varun Narayan, Journalist Shantanu Guha Roy Ibadat, Anuraga and Archit Daniel with their Indo Western Band, Pavari folk dancers from Gujarat are among those performing at the event.

Event Charges:
  • Full Event (3-day) Pass: Rs. 1,250
  • Single Day Pass: Rs. 499
  • College student: Rs. 250 
  • Children upto class 12 - Entry is free

  • Udaipur Tales Village "Jamghat" will open at 5:00pm. Handcrafted and exclusive items, street food, music, instant storytelling competition and many more activities will be held. 
  • Storytelling Adults: Renga from 6:00pm to 9:00pm 
    • Queen of Dandakaranya Surpanakha by Usha Venkatraman
    • Jo bhi karega ab wo hi karega by Sanjay Shubhankar
    • Singha stories of Sri Lanka by Dr. Samathiya Fernando
    • Fascinating Crime Story by Shantanu Guha Ray
    • Sufi Music by Roohani sisters.

Speaking on the occasion, Salil Bhandari said that it envisages a platform where young and old can participate and enjoy storytelling and become rich in values ​​and experience.
