The annual event of JASHN-E-VILADATE MAULA ALI (A.S) marked as the Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Ali cousin and son in law of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was successfully organized by the Students Welfare Society (S.W.S), Bohra Youth, Udaipur from 25 ^th May 2012 – 31 ^st May 2012. As part of the event, a number of competitions were conducted at different venues in which over 300 participants took part with great zeal and enthusiasm. The inauguration ceremony was held on 25 ^th May at the Bohra Youth Public School and was presided over by Mulla Peer Ali K.G. The week had students locking horns in Quiz competitions, Elocution, Calligraphy, Manqabat (spiritual recitals) and painting competitions. As per the SWS officials, the main aim of the society behind conducting these programs is to bring out the inherent qualities that students have in them in different fields like Education, Art &Craft, Public Speaking, etc along with enhancement of their religious knowledge. Curtains came down on this year’s program with the finals of Quiz competition and prize distribution ceremony on 31 ^st May 2012. The finale held at Bohra Youth Community Hall had the presence of all the members of Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat along with a large crowd that had come to cheer their favored participant. The winners in different categories were given awards with certificates. Vote of thanks for the event was given by the Program Convener Mr. Ali Asgar Bohra.
