BPCL organises quality check programme
BPCL organised a quality check program for its consumers on 70th Independence day.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation limited (BPCL) organised a quality check program for its consumers in Udaipur.
BPCL organised a quality check programme on the 70th Independence Day on 15th August 2017. The agenda was to make the consumers aware of the importance of checking the quality of petrol or diesel being provided to them. Consumers were made aware of their rights through demonstrations given by the petrol pump staff.
Consumers were shown different ways of checking the quality of petrol and diesel. Demo was given through fuel transfer nozzle where consumers were instructed on how a 5 metre measure can check the quantity of petrol. Even methods of checking density of the fuel were shown.
Somnath Mishra(ADC), BR Bhati (Centre for Cultural Resources), Manish Bhatnagar (DPCO) and officials from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited Vivek Sharma and Pravesh Rathore were present on the occasion. As per BPCL officers, the program will continue in Udaipur for about a month. Consumers will be made aware of the importance of quality and quantity of petrol and diesel used by them. The main aim is to make people alert about the product that they are using.
Females visiting the petrol pump were specifically made to understand the importance of their vehicles. Just the way a woman takes care of her household, she is supposed to understand the fuel product her vehicle consumes. A vehicle is as important as any other thing in the house. Every mechanism requires the right quality of fuel to make it function for a longer period. Explaining the importance of an independent life on this Independence Day, women were asked to take full control of the well being of their vehicles by assuring that the correct quality and quantity of fuel was being filled in their vehicles. This 70th Independence Day marked an important day in the history of BPCL and added an important chapter of consumer awareness in its books.
