Free eye check up and operation camp was organised by the Geetanjali Hospital at their premises in Udaipur on 19-20 June.

Apart from patients from Udaipur, even those from nearby areas viz. Sirohi, Dungarpur, Banswara, etc. participated and took advantage of the camp.

Specialist Doctors from GMCH, namely Dr. CK Nagar, Dr. Hrishi Mehta, Dr. Lipa Mohanty, Dr. Sharda Punjabi, Dr. Nutan Bedi, and Dr. Rachna Jain provided their services free of charge.

The highlight of this camp was that free operation for Cataract, using the latest Phaco Surgery procedure was performed on patients.  Apart from Cataract, patients suffering from Naakhuna (Pteruygium in the Eye); Nasoor (Fistula of the Eye); Kala Pani (Glaucoma) and Squint were also given treatment, free operation and advice during the camp.  Free Eye Testing was also done during the successful camp.
