A grand reunion of Central Academy’s students was organized on 3^rd-4^th May at Jeevan Tara Resort. More than 16 former students who studied together in 8^th and 9^th class (1991-92) had memorable time discussing those beautiful school days.

Meeting after 22 long years, the reunion proved as a successful achievement to boost the old friendship again.

One of the alumnae reached UdaipurTimes.com and requested to publish the event. The details were mailed to us and after reading it, we decided not to alter it to and keep its originality and way of expression.

Central Academy – Sardarpura Branch – 8^th and 9^th Std Section – B – year – 1991-92

It all started with those few people who initiated getting connected to former classmates to name few Veena, Shagun, Gaurav, Rahul Doshi, Rohit Bhatnagar some 3 years back. Technology helped us in getting connected to each other – facbook, whatsapp, other social networking sites and not to forget Udaipur BSNL yellow pages.

We started our whatsapp group last year-Sep and then it was big bang.  Everyone was so happy to talk to each other again and were even better friends than before. The reunion plan was made on whatsapp, everyone was calling each other to convince them to come. We wanted it to be a big event.

The place, menu, desserts, DJ, event organizers everything was decided on whatsapp chat at 11pm sharp every day. The arrangement were taken care by Veena Maheshwari, Rohit Bhatnagar, Rahul Doshi, Pratap Makhija.

Students settled outside Udaipur booked their tickets and of course the party theme was black color.

Finally the R-Day reached and everyone met after 22 years which is long long time, there were few who have changed drastically, few were so easily recognizable.

All the absentees were sad for not making it up for some or other reason, better luck next time

Each of the group member spoke about themselves and everyone came to know happy and sad moments in each other’s life. This introduction helped each other connect well after 22 years.

In the midst of all we spoke about the teachers, principal and all the pranks that we played with each other and teachers. The most popular teachers were – Sangita Bhatnagar(English) madam, Devpura sir(Geography), Rana sir(PT), Sarla (Hindi) madam, Bose madam(V. Principal), Mishra Sir and Madam. Though we didn’t get the chance to meet them but their memories became fresh as if we were with them just yesterday.

In all it was like Time Machine took us back to school time …….

This batch was famous for their unity in the class and it was very evident after the reunion that this Unity is inseparable and we will be there for each other at all times.

This should set an example for all those who want to meet their batch mates. Don’t wait for school to organize Alumni meet..you can have your own one..and trust me this will be one of the most memorable days in your life.
