In this era of global climate change and rapidly degrading environmental condition which have drastically effected human life on earth, this program is focused and sentencing general masses about how small changes in their lifestyles can make tremendous differences in conserving the environment and improving our life to make a better place to live – Said Dr. N.C Jain (Chief Conservator Wild Life)
In continuation with the program on World Environment Day an exhibition of medical plants and herbs used in Ayurveda would be organized at Gulab Bagh
Theatre performance, roller skating, treasure hunt and many other events will also be organized to send a single message – “save the world environment.”
In a short conversation, Dr. N.C Jain told about how people should react on this matter, “I will say, thought is a beginning of success. No matter what others are doing, if a single thought about environment comes in your mind it means we all are going on right path. I request all you that even if you don’t want to come riding bicycle, you just come to join us and let just feel it.”
Further he wished, “I want to see Udaipur city a greener city in next 5 years, there should be one tree in every 10 meters of distance, proper facility of waste management etc. Lake side areas should be no-vehicle zone, water recycle, polythene recycle etc. You know even roads are made from polythene and it happened in our own country so why not Udaipur?”
