Muslims all over India and Udaipur are celebrating
Eid-ul-Fitr today on September 11, 2010 after completing 30th Roza(fast) on Friday. “
Khutbah” (Eid prayer) was offered in various mosques and
Eidgah of Udaipur following Anjuman, Savina, Dholi Bavdi, Mallatalai, Mastan baba, Badi Paltan and Khanjipir mosque etc. After fasting for 30 days in holy month of
Ramzan, with bestowed mercy and blessings, now Eid will be celebrated exultantly with family and relatives. Exchanged wishes, gifts, sweets and blessings will mark the day as one of the most joyous moment for Muslim community. It is rare occasion of unity when Muslims are celebrating Eid while Hindus are celebrating
Ganesha Chaturthi and everyone together is cherishing beauty of our
overflowing lakes.
EID MUBARAK to
everyone from UT team.
