With an aim to promote beatification of our surroundings including homes, residential colonies and public areas in general, the District Administration has planned a flower show at the Fatehsagar Pal.

Visitors at the event will be treated with a visual display of flowers spread across a large variety of flowers, including Bonsai, Decorative, Ornamental and even rare species of flowers.

The Administration has invited people from across demographics, including Nursery owners, garden developers, individual flower cultivators and farmers who specialize in flower cultivation to take part in the event.  Even those individuals who maintain their own gardens are welcome to showcase their gardens through photographs.  At the end of the event, winners in various categories will be awarded.

Complimentary to this, the Urban Improvement Trust has announced an expenditure of Rs. 1 Crore, to be sponsored by Hindustan Zinc Limited towards the beautification through plantation across the city.  HZL will also maintain the plantation so done.
