Grit and Grace - Skill set development goes a long way in determining professional growth irrespective of gender bias
Grit and Grace - was the theme of the women's event organised on International Women's Day by Manvin Consulting in Udaipur. The event was co-hosted by TIE Udaipur, Udaipur Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur.

Prominent speakers at the event included Shanu Lodha - Administrative Office at IIM Udaipur; Shivani Johri Bhatnagar - Special Judge Commercial Court, Udaipur; Prof (Dr) Vijay Lakshim Chauhan - Former HOD, Psychology Dept, MLSU; Kavita Singh - CHRO, Hindustan Zinc and Arun Attri - VP (IT), Wonder Cement, Udaipur.

Speakers were of the common view that a professional woman continues to struggle with gender bias in some form or the other - the glass ceiling effect is not going away soon. As they move ahead in their careers on the basis of their capabilities, at every stage they encounter a "what-if" situation and the gender bias does affect perceptions. The event was held at Lalit Laxmi Vilas Hotel, Udaipur.
