Maharashtra rules Shilpgram Stage on 2nd Day
Maharashtra dominated the stage of Kalangan at Shilpgram on the second day of annual fest Shilpgram Utsav 2015. Audience enjoyed the spectacular presentation of Lavni, Kali Nritya, Gondhal and Ghan which exhibited not only the culture of Maharashtra but also an utmost devotion in a mesmerizing manner.
Maharashtra dominated the stage of Kalangan at Shilpgram on the second day of annual fest Shilpgram Utsav 2015. Audience enjoyed the spectacular presentation of Lavni, Kali Nritya, Gondhal and Ghan which exhibited not only the culture of Maharashtra but also an utmost devotion in a mesmerizing manner.
The program was started with Kanch ka Nagada by Narendra Kushwaha followed by Langa Song by artists from Hadauti.
Another tradition of Maharashtra, “Powada” was also presented which displayed the valor of Shivaji Maharaj through an energetic song.
Child artist from Odisha also impressed the audience by Gotipua Dance mingled with acrobatic steps. The Manipur’s Stick Dance and Thang-ta rejuvenated the audience.
On the third day today (23rd Dec) Shilpgram Utsav will be dedicated to Goa, most of the dance and musical presentation will be conducted by Goan artists.
