Maheshashram launches short film “Pheko Mat, Hume Do”

To spread awareness regarding the increasing number of incidents where newborn babies are left abandoned, a social organization Maheshashram in association with Start Ad Media Pvt. Ltd launched a short film “Pheko Mat, Hume Do” (Don’t throw, give us).

The film CD was launched by UMC Mayor Rajni Dangi today in a small program held at Maheshashram (Maa Bhagwati Vikas Sansthan) Bhuwana.

While addressing the audience, Rajni Dangi praised the work of Maheshashram where many abandoned baby girls are getting new life. While expressing her views Mayor said, “I hope this work of Maheshashram will educate the mass and before leaving the newborn babies, their parents will think twice.”

Dangi said, “Even if they decide to leave the baby, they should not dump it anywhere but give it in safe hands of Maheshashram.”

Devendra Agrawal, Director, Maheshashram, informed that the ashram has received more than 115 abandoned infants. The infants found at the palna are adopted by Mahesashram, so that they can be given a better life.

Agarwal said, “The illegal act of aborting female feticide has disturbed the gender ratio to a great extent.”

Kamlesh Borana, Director, Star Ad Media Pvt. Ltd, informed that short film “Pheko Mat, Hume Do” focuses on human aspect of left out infants. The initiative is to create sympathy for such kids. The movie is produced free for social benefits.
