20 couples got married in the Rasm-E-Saifee, a community mass wedding of Dawoodi Bohras held on Saturday by Aliqadar Syedi Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin, son of Dr. Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin, the highest priest of Bohra community.

During his stay in Udaipur Aliqadar Syedi Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin lead the nikah of more than two dozen couples, some individually and some in a mass wedding ceremony.

The Baraat Procession was organized today in the form of a large procession starting from Field Club and passing through Fatehpura Chouraha, Tank Building and concluded at Burhani Masjid, Kharol Colony.

Dr. B. Momin, spokesperson of Shia Dawoodi Bohra informed that, 45 grooms dressed in the traditional wedding attire rode on horses. The procession was lead by Elephants and Camel carts, hundreds and thousands of community members participated in the procession.

Aliqadar Syedi Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin bestowed his blessings to the couples and observed the procession from Burhani Masjid.

Community bands and scouts were also the important part of the procession.
