On the occasion of Good Friday today, hundreds of local people celebrated the day by visiting various Churches in the city and praying with unflinching devotion and faith. At Fatima Rani Church Udaipur, a huge number of Christians participated in the traditional Good Friday procession that retraces Jesus’ walk by caring the Cross. Along the way, people chanted prayers and Sang Hymns. Good Friday events started with a late noon prayer service at the Cathedral followed by the procession in the St. Paul’s School Udaipur. Rev. Bishop Joseph Pathallil was the main celebrant of the Liturgy.
A prayer meeting was also held at Shepherd Memorial Church, Chetak where people participated in Bible reading, Christ songs and prayers to mark the significant day with great faith and fervor.
At the venue, key message was delivered by Brother Shashish Soni who came from Jabalpur for the day. He narrated the important teachings and sayings of Jesus Christ when he was crucified. Br. Soni encouraged the devotees to walk on the path of Jesus Christ and his principals. Harmon Masih and Angelina sang the religious hymns while prayers were delivered by Rev. Ramson Victor and Brother Ajay Damor.
