Lake City Press Club had organized a Cultural Night on 26 ^th January 2011 at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal’s auditorium. Many notable media personals and senior journalists of Udaipur were present in this event to commemorate The Republic Day.

Various musical programs were presented by club’s members and their families followed by the honoring of many media professionals for their outstanding works. Late Krishan Mohan Khabya Award was given to Mr. Sanjay Khabya and Late Chandresh Vyas Award was given to Mr. Nareshwar Rao.

Senior Journalists Mr. D.I Khan, Mr. Ugrasen Rao, Mr. Rituraj and Mr. Rafiq.M.Pathan were also present in this event.

Club’s founder Rituraj had addressed the attendees by wishing a bright future for the only club of Udaipur representing journalists and hoped that the newly elected President Akhtar Hussain will do more productive work for organization and its members.

On the same day, a friendly cricket match was also organized at RCA ground between Lake City Press Club and GBH American Hospital, though the club had lost the game but the game was enjoyable.
