A workshop on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Retail was organized by the Department of Economics of Shramjeevi College where Professor N K Dashora of Pacific College addressed the audience as a keynote speaker in this one day workshop.

Speaking on the subject of FDI in retail, Prof. Dashora said that a farmer can sell his goods directly at market price and earn maximum profit. The most important thing about FDI is that the position of the middle men will get finished.

Prof N.K Dashora discussed the advantages of FDI, investment procedure and about the business competition. The program was coordinated by Dr Pradeep Punjabi of Shramjeevi College.

Dr. Punjabi mentioned that with the FDI, the position of the middle men will get terminated, the farmer will get leverage to sale goods produced by him without depending upon any mediator.
