The Department of English, Manikyalal Verma Shramjeevi College, JRNRVU (Deemed) University Udaipur is organizing a National Seminar on ‘Aspects of English Communication Skills’ on February 24, 2014. The seminar focuses on providing a common platform to academicians and research scholars within and outside the state and participants from corporate world where they can interact and share their experiences and research findings.

According to Dean, Dr. Suman Pamecha, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, “The participants will discuss on the topic ‘English Communication Skills is need of the hour’. Good communication skills continue to be the foundations of learning, emotional development and socializing throughout a young person’s schooling and onward into the workplace. Young people need effective speech, language and communication skills in order to have a wide range of life choices.”

Dr. Mukta Sharma, the Seminar Director said, “Effective communication skills are now required for everyone in each and every walk of life.” The seminar outlines the main issue that involves special training and experience and proper guidance when it comes to dealing with second language learning.

Dr. Sharada V. Bhatt, the seminar Organizer added, “The discussion during this seminar will focus on teaching/learning of the four skills (LSRW) on Aspects of Personality Development as well as development of interview skills and need of group discussion. Besides this, other related aspects shall also be discussed.”

On 25 Februray, 2014 a Workshop will be conducted which will discuss the Practical Aspects of English Communication Skills.
