A lively procession laden with ornamented horses, musical band and security guards of City Palace was carried out today on the occasion of Sheetala Ashtami. The procession started from City Palace’s Tripolia and concluded at Sheetala Mata Temple.

Devotees, both men and women participated in the procession and observed Pooja-Archana of the Goddess on the auspicious occasion.

Sheetala Ashtami is celebrated after 8 days of Holi festival. Most of the Hindu families don’t lit fire on this day and spend the day on pre-cooked food.
