St. Anthony students win regional round of RBI Quiz Competition

In the general round, 6 teams were selected from 90 participating teams from 44 schools. The selected teams were from St. Thomas, St. Mary’s, St. Anthony’s, Maharana Mewar Public Schhool, St. Paul’s school (all from Udaipur) and Jawahar Navoday School from Mavli.

 
St. Anthony students win regional round of RBI Quiz Competition

Regional round of All India RBI Inter-School Quiz Competition was conducted today at MLSU auditorium. The competition was organized for the first time in Udaipur by Reserve Bank of India.

Akash Jain and Sahil Ahmed of St. Anthony’s School won the quiz competition and have been selected for semi-final round which will be held in Mumbai on 29-30 Sept. The Final round will be conducted on 2nd Oct in Mumbai.

Deepak Goyal, Assistant Manager, Programs (RBI) informed that Jaipur round of competition was held on 2nd Sept. Goyal said that the motive behind running the competition is to inform students about the functions and activities of RBI.  Though RBI is generally known just as currency printing government organization but it plays a much bigger role in deciding the fiscal policies of the country.
