The success of PM’s program Make in India is highly dependent on ‘Mine in India’ because the success of any industry linked to Make in India will be directly influenced by the availability of the resources. It is imperative to have transparency in mine development and policies related to it.

The above statement was made by Former Director-Hindustan Zinc Ltd HV Paliwal during the occasion of Mining Day celebration at Institute of Engineers, Udaipur. The Mining Engineers’ Association of India, Rajasthan Chapter- Udaipur conducted oath taking ceremony as well for all the members.

DS Maru highlighted the mining activities and processing while chief speaker IBM’s regional officer JR Chaudhary informed about the mining regulations as stated by the central government. Other dignitaries also presented their views on the occasion of Mining Day.
