Around 30 couples are expected to get married in the mass wedding of Tailik Sahu Samaj of Udaipur. The community had hit the headlines before for their extra ordinary mass wedding ceremony.

The wedding is going to take place on 22nd feb, whereas registration process is still going on. According to Ram Narayan Kuradia, president of the community, “21 couples have already registered for the wedding. We expect around 30 couples will wed in this 24^th Mass Wedding Ceremony by the community.”

Kuradia informed, “Every couple will be presented fixed deposit of Rs.10000 and subsidy by state government will also be given to them.”

Up till now, 1400 couples have been married in the Samuhik Vivah Samaroh by the community.

Informing more about the event, “A mass procession will start from Hanuman Chowk, Dhanmandi and will conclude at Town Hall where all the essential marriage rituals will be conducted including the reception.”

A team of 31 people is responsible for managing the program. However, 30 other teams will coordinate with their senior members for several arrangments.

Every participating family of bride and groom have been asked to contribute Rs.5000 as help to the community to execute the program well.
