World Telecommunication and Information Society Day was observed on 17^th May in an event organized by The Institute of Engineers, Udaipur chapter and Computer Society of India. The event highlighted the theme: Telecommunications and ICTs- Drivers of Innovation.

The chief guest of the event was Prof S.S Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor of MPUAT who projected the pros and cons of telecommunication and ICT. President of institute Engineer A.S Chundawat welcomed and addressed the audience regarding the history of telecommunications.

Engineer Amit Joshi gave video presentation to enlighten the audience with the global networking of information. The main speaker was Prof Vipin Tyagi, professor from JP University, Guna.
