Admnistration will take action against any vendor who charges more than the fixed rates.

All rates must be marked on the packets as per the list finalised after discussions whole salers and trade unions.

District administration has finalised the rates for the rations. Since there were complaints of shopkeepers charging more than the printed price, administration has finalised the pricing of rations.

The decisions were taken in accordance with the powers listed in Disaster Management Act 2005 regarding the basic daily supplies. 

The pricing of all the basic kitchen supplies has been released after discussions with trade unions and whole salers. Action will be taken against any dealer charging more than the printed price.

The list released for various grocery items is as follows:

All other brands 25 kg Atta packs- 675/- 
Fortune Soya oil 1 litre- 110/-
