What to eat? Fill the stomachs with air and water!!

As if the onion was not enough to make us cry, pulses have joined the cadre. With onions making people cry with their extrvagant price, pulses ran into an inferiority complex and rose high on the price chart. The prices have gone as high as upto 25 rupees per kg and soon the people's favourite and all time food daal-chaval might take a back seat as the prices of yellow daal(arhar, tuar) have touched 100 rupees kg once again.
The heavy rains have resulted in the damage of lentil crops and oilseeds. As a result, the kitchen may suffer since the dent on the pocket is enough to affect the kitchen supplies. Also because of the rains, the quality of produce has deteriorated resulting in public buying a low quality supply for the cost of a higher one.
