From heart to the wall, love and honour for the Indian National flag was displayed by foreign nationals yesterday. A group of 21 students from Italy, Belgium and France displayed their love for the Tricolour by painting it on a wall.
In the 5 day trip to Udaipur, these students learnt about Udaipur’s heritage and culture. They also showed immense interest in folk dances. The students expressed their thoughts about different ways of keeping the city clean.
Going ahead with cleanliness, these foreign students went to Dudhtalai and carried out a cleanliness drive. After cleaning the place, they painted the Indian Tricolour on a wall keeping in mind the forthcoming Indian Independence Day. The group is led by 2 teachers who are making the students aware of the various aspects of the city. A local cook is also accompanying the group who is providing information of local cuisine and also giving them a taste of the same. Before visiting Udaipur, these students made trips to a number of historical places like Agra and others and even made a trip to the Himalayas learning about the specialties of these places.
