Human body cleaning can be defined as a detoxification process. Detoxification means removing the waste and toxins from the body.

Your body gets the toxins from many external sources like junk foods, sweets, caffeinated drinks, alcoholic drinks, additives used in the processed foods, insecticide/pesticide sprayed vegetables/fruits and drugs etc. Exposure to industrial chemicals and other contaminants, smoking, yeast containing foods and packed fruit juices are some other examples from which you can get toxins.

Your body gets toxins from the internal sources also like protein breakdown products that are produced after metabolism like ammonia and urea etc. There are many ways by which you can detoxify your body.

Why do you require the detoxification; the reason is to get a clear glowing skin, sparkling eyes, improved digestion, weight loss and to boost energy levels.

The first way is you need to choose the organic foods which are free from any chemical sprays and always prefer non-processed foods. Second, you increase the intake of raw fruits, vegetables and other fiber rich foods to aid the process of detoxification.

Another way is that you can increase the intake of foods and drinks that will speed up your urination and defecation process. When you have constipation you are at a greater risk of suffering from some infections and toxins, so you need to drink plenty of water to remove the waste out of your body.

There are some detoxification diets also that will help to keep your body toxin free like there is one RAW FOOD DIET, which includes the consumption of all raw uncooked fruits and vegetables to prevent the toxin accumulation in your digestive system by regulating your bowel movement.

MONO DIET is another diet which is used to detoxify the body. In this kind of diet a person eats only one or two foods like apples, grapes or some other fruit/vegetable/liquid for a period of 10-15 days.

Another diet is called JUICE DIET. This kind of diet will include the consumption of mixed fruits/vegetable juice, herbal teas for a period of 2-3 days.

There are some important point to remember like when you are on a detoxification diet, you need to avoid some foods like chocolates, jams, sweets, sugar, coffee, tea, alcohol, processed foods, milk, egg, cheese, cream, salt, carbonated drinks, sauce, pickle, chips, cakes, biscuits, pies, pastry, butter, red meat and sausages etc.

Drink 8-10 glasses of water in a day during your detoxification process to remove the toxins from your body. Eat whole grain cereals instead of refined ones. There are so many herbal detox teas that can be taken during the process. Avoid smoking cigarettes if you are a smoker. Take a glass of hot water with lemon squeezed in it in the morning, exercise regularly to remove the toxins through sweat and properly chew the food and eat slowly.
