School students from Rajasthan Board will soon study story on bravery of IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan as part of curriculum.
Rajasthan’s education minister Govind Singh Dotasra put this proposal as a step to honour the fighter pilot. Citing Abhinandan’s school education in Jodhpur, the minister tweeted, “Abhinandan’s story of bravery will be introduced in the school syllabus of Rajasthan in a bid to honour him.“
Dotasra however did not mention the classes where the story of Wing Commander Abhinandan will be introduced.
Incidentally, the minister had earlier also proposed addition of stories of troopers who had died in the Pulwama attack as part of syllabus. This suggestion was accepted by syllabus review committee.
Dotasra had accused earlier Governments of neglecting history, culture and great personalities in school textbooks.
