8-day International Multimedia Art Symposium was inaugurated on Monday in joint collaboration of TAKHMAN-28 and WZCC. 10 artists and sculptors from various nations including female artists were present for this symposium.
Furkan Khan-Director of WZCC, Uttam Pacharne-Chairman of Lalit kala Academy, New Delhi, TAKHMAN Chairman Suresh Sharma, President LL Verma, Dr. Vidhyasagar Upadhyay and Secretary RK Verma were among the guests. Expressing his views over this international symposium, Uttam Pacharne said that modern art is an endorsement over revolution. It is a home for the artists the beauty of which lies in the hands of the artists. TAKHMAN has given many national and international artists in the past 50 years.
WZCC Director Furkan Khan said that TAKHMAN now needs to bring out the love for art in public as until now the institute has taught art but public doesn’t show much of interest in art. They simply visit art galleries and see the sculptures and then forget about it. He said that very few people express their love and attachment towards art.
