2 directors of Ananta hotel in Kodiyat have been accused of fraudulent activity by some NRIs living in Dubai.

70 NRIs living in Dubai have filed a case against 2 directors of Ananta hotel in Bujhda, Kodiyat, for fraudulent activity. Police officer Nathu Singh said that Vijay Lachwani, Girish Partani and Jugal Harwani have filed a report against GD Agarwal and Tarun Saxena, directors of Ananta hotel.

 As per the report, these directors had visited Dubai in 2012 with a hotel project as per which 70 NRIs including Lachwani, Partani and Harwani had invested almost 50 crores collectively. They were misled that a part of income from the hotel would be shared with these 70 people but till now they haven’t been given a single penny as per the conditions stated for investment. The NRIs have lodged a complaint stating that the hotel directors have neither undergone an audit nor are they fulfilling any of the terms and conditions. Apart from this, they even took an investment of 5 crores for Dwarka projector in Gujarat almost a year back and have not shared any profits till date.
