Parents of the students studying in St. Teresa School presented a memorandum to district administration against the school for giving TCs to more than 100 students after the school decided to convert from Hindi to English Medium.

The parents demanded re-admission of their children and stated school’s action inappropriate and may cost future of their wards.

The memorandum was handed over to the Adm City, Yaseen Pathan. The parents highlighted that on the pretext of changing the school pattern to English medium, around 150 students of the school were given their transfer certificates. All these students were studying in the school when it was Hindi Medium.

In the memorandum, the parents also mentioned that due to such a decision of the school Administration all the students of Hindi medium were suffering loss of their studies as the new session has already started.

On the other hand, when the District education Officer was contacted, she informed that a reminder was given by the School Administration in the month of January informing that the School wants to close the regulation of 11th and 12th standard, but she had no knowledge about today’s Memorandum.

ADM City assured the parents that a wise decision will be made after meeting with the concerned department.
