-Funny egg skulls When you are making eggs for breakfast, don’t throw away the hard shells. Instead, make a small hole at the bottom of the egg, and let out the raw form from it directly on the frying pan. Next, wash the eggs slightly and give it to your kids to either paint out some funny faces on it, or decorate it with tiny hats and big paper eyes. Ask them to leave a smile on it with red marker.
-Fat Octopus Don’t throw away your old socks. You can make a soft toy out of it. Take around four pairs of socks and ask your child to fill cotton wool in those 8 socks fully. Then, take an old big handkerchief and fill some cotton wool in it too, form it into a ball and stitch it. Next, attach all the eight socks by stitching them to the handkerchief ball firmly. Lastly, take two black buttons and stitch them on the handkerchief ball to makes eyes of the octopus.
-Rocky heads Collect big stones, while you are off for a walk or dropping your kid to school. Ask them to paint the stones with different colors and stick some foam shapes, pom poms or googly eyes on it with colored papers/ play dohs to make hilarious faces.
-Pen Holder Do you have a left over tin? Don’t put it in the garbage. You can make an amazing pen holder by covering the tin with either used gift wrappers, or any type of old dress laces. Decorate it with lace/ artificial flowers on it, or however.
-Clay Frames Take some air dry clay on a thick card which is cut any artistic shaped and stick it together. Leave some space in between for a photograph. Then paint golden, brown or silver on it fully. When it is completely dried up, you can place family photos in it. These would make lovely gifts.
-Big Crown Take a piece of old news paper or a calendar and make several folds vertically until it becomes rectangular in shape and then stick the ends together to form a circle, with some tapes. Cover the whole thing using gift wrappers or color papers, and decorate on it the way you like.
-Mummy play dough Take the left over dough of your chapatti and just add some 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar and oil, if you didn’t put it in the dough. You can also add food coloring to the mixture if you want to make colored dough.
-Macaroni Necklace Don’t throw the expired macaronis or pastas and get some thick thread or string and PVA glue. Use glitter if your child fancies making their creation extra sparkly, or some paint for extra color. Put them all together and design a necklace out of it
