The seventeenth of November was a tasty tasty day of Central Academy’s premises and the air was replete with rich smell of sumptuous foods being prepared by Class XI & XII students in the Cooking Competition on the occasion of World’s Students Day.

Students tried their hands on various cuisines that unleashed their culinary art and exhibited the varieties in an absolute colorful way that captivated the whole arena. A team of 10 students from each class was absorbed in the systematic preparation of the various delicacies on fire. The premises was engulfed with rich and tempting smell that was just irresistible and the rest of the students couldn’t resist peeping out of the classes to catch that one glance of exotic preparations on stove.

The competition was judged by the guests of honour, Abhishek Gupta, Executive Sous Chef (CLUB MAHINDRA) & Mahendra Soni, Faculty for Food Production, Baking & Pastry at AHA (Airlines and Hotel Management Academy), also served as a Former Pastry Cook at Royal Caribbean International.

Criteria for judgement was taste,quality,nourishment and presentation of food. Judges were overwhelmed by witnessing the strenuous efforts put in by students, which was reflected in their delicious preparations.

The competition ended with the prize distribution ceremony, awarding first, second and third prizes to the winning teams.

It was truly a colorful event displaying the exuberance and talent of students bestowed with the blessings of the Principal.
