GURU POORNIMA is a day to be grateful when you retrospect on how wisdom transforms your life and you feel elated to all that has come your way.

On 16 July 2019, the management, teachers, staff & students of Seedling school Udaipur, celebrated the auspicious day of Guru Poornima with great reverence, enthusiasm and devotion. The special assembly started with a floral tribute to Goddess Saraswati and lighting of the lamp.  Student of class XII presented a dance, which was a mixture of traditional and contemporary nuances. Rishima Puri of XII Science spoke on the importance of teachers and the role they play in the lives of children of all ages. This was followed by a classical song by students of class VII, sung in praise of ‘THE GURU’.

Event concluded with a ‘Nukkad Natak’, which was replete with praises and acknowledgement of the contribution of teachers. All the teachers were felicitated with a token of gratitude. Director of the school Hardeep Bakshi congratulated the teachers and students with an encouraging speech.  Principal Keerti Maken concluded the event by thanking students & management for the zeal and zest with which they presented and participated in the assembly.

The importance of Guru Purnima,a special day dedicated to expressing gratitude,love and respect for our teachers was brought to the little Seedlites knowledge at Seedling Nursery School through an enactment by the teachers which showcased how a guru/ teacher needs to be respected and given due importance.

The enactment was simple,fun and easily understood by the little ones as it depicted a class room scene.Many children brought flowers & chocolates and wished the teachers.
