Both, the Nursery and Senior branches of Seedling Modern Public School, Udaipur, celebrated the occasion of Independence day on 15th August at their respective premises.

A variety of performances by the students were showcased at the celebration function.  These included the unfurling of the national tricolor, singing the national anthem, poem recitation competitions, dance competitions, motivational songs as well as enactment of a play, depicting human rights and promoting the Indian culture of dignity and equality, the prime codes of humanity.

Nursery students, though 4 and 5 year old, showed high confidence levels while performing on stage and it was obvious to the audience through the error free introductions and recitations, which included VandeMataram and Mera Desh.  Jubilant winners of the event at Seedling Nursery were students from UKG B and Prep A in the first position and UKG A and Prep B in the second position.

Students of Seedling the World School (CIE), presented Zumba dance.  Flexibility and fitness were promoted through yoga pyramids performed by the students. A beautiful tableau and dance on Krishna Leela was also a part of the events.

The celebrations of Independence day at Seedling were a week long activity with a variety of competitions being held during the last week.  The concluding event took place on 15th August.
