Chapter 3 of the Udaipur Diplomacy Summit (UDS) is being organised at Seedling Modern Public School.  The event is witnessing simulated discussions on topics of global concern, including debates on a wide range of topics from Moscow Peace Summit to International Court of Justice.

Participating students have been divided into six committees which have been allotted different topics. On the final day, each committee will present a summary report and recommend measures to solve the issues under each topic.

UDS involves and teaches research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills in addition to critical thinking, team work and leadership abilities. Diplomacy Summit believes that the involvement of so many young minds from various backgrounds, all combine to give the students a deep insight into the real world problems and make them aware of the causes of conflict between nations.

There is also a social session, which happens in the evening .This is an opportunity for the delegates to get to know each other. It’s considered to be a crucial part of the summit, which helps the delegates to step out of their comfort zone and hesitation and perform better. As the students are from various schools and cities it becomes vital  to provide them a platform where they can interact on a personal level and get to know they’ll be working with. This helps the introverts to have a say, and the extroverts to find a better way.

This summit aims to connects the schools of not only Udaipur but of the whole  nation. There are more than 350 delegates participating in this summit. We have delegates from Udaipur and its surrounding cities (Kota,Chittorgarh,Banswara, Dungerpur, Bhilwara, Fatehnagar, etc.) and  metro cities of India, viz Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, etc.

This traditional format of debating is generated in our country to broaden horizons and unite people to stand for a change. The venue for UDS CHAPTER 2-2018 was also SEEDLING MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL.
