Seedling The World School – a Cambridge International School, strongly believes in instilling the rich culture and traditions of India in the students. Following this tradition, students were greeted and welcomed by the schools’ staff staff with a ‘Roli and chawal’ ceremony on their arrival. The academic session for 2018 began with the ‘Saraswati Puja’. Director Hardeep Bakshi and Principal lighted the lamp. All the students then offered flowers while chanting the Saraswati Mantra. Students and teachers sang the aarti to take blessings from the Goddess of Knowledge and wisdom in order to have a fruitful year ahead. It was a real delight to watch innocent and intellectual souls sincerely seeking blessings from Maa Saraswati. God bless them all! The new students joining Seedling the World School this year, gave a brief introduction of themselves and they were cheered and welcomed by all. Students headed towards their respective classrooms after taking the ‘Prashad’ of the puja. Interesting and engaging ‘back to school’ activities, games and discussions took place in each of the classroom…..some did not want to go home too!! The day was not over without having the ‘Selfie Moment Of The Day!’ for each Grade with colourful and attractive props.
