In the series of Teachers Exchange Program, a group of British teachers participated in teaching and other activities at The Junior Study School. Teachers from Gors Community School, Swansea Wales UK were in the school for a week and explored, shared and involved in various learning activities.
Teachers – Keith Atkins, Marion Jones, Ann Chapman and Kelvin Broad – shared their thoughts with students on global and local issues, environment and sciences.
According to Jinu K Samuel of The Junior Study, the program was to enhance and exchange teaching methodology of teachers from Junior Study and the guest teachers from U.K.
“They also visited farms as a part of a field trip and discussed about the ongoing projects on endangered species and global issues. Exchange of work from both the schools was also presented”, said Jinu.
Jinu also shared that during their stay at the school, British teachers were highly impressed with the handwriting skills and mathematical capabilities of the students.
Keith Atkins also distributed prizes to the winners of Art Competition held in the school.
