Diwali is probably the most popular and well known of all Indian festivals. With different styles of celebration, rituals and traditions in different parts of India. This festival is well loved and welcomed in every Indian home and every home is happy for Diwali. But Diwali is more about the spirit of giving than receiving.
While the most of us are queuing up outside the mega malls and designer shops to shop for the upcoming Diwali festival, an entirely different set of people are climbing different steps to bring smiles to the faces of the under privileged children and for children who don’t have a family to buy them gifts.
As a part of the group which pioneers into education and development of children, Surbhi Khatri and Sanjay Panwar, Director Kidzee Udaipur took this initiative of sharing some happy moments with the children of Narayan Seva Sansthan.
Toys, crackers and old clothes were distributed to the children. These items were voluntarily donated by the parents of the children studying with the 4 branches of Kidzee Udaipur , Pologround, Court Chouraha, Sec 4 n Sector 11.
Surabhi said,”For many of us it will be different Diwali. Our smiles doubled seeing the smiles of the kids and knowing we were responsible for it.”
