Life is short and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are travelling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be kind.

Travelling is always fun. Travelling with family is something that does not happen so easily in today’s busy lives. To utilize this opportunity, special care needs to be taken. Travelling with toddlers is needs special attention. So here are some measures which one can take to widen their enjoyment levels.

1. Carry little knits-knacks-

Carry some things your child really likes. This could be their favorite toy, puzzle bug, and book or say a multicolored bottle. They might not really play with them then but if you try giving it to someone, they would definitely stop whining for sure. Trust me, this really works.

2. Let them have loads of fun-

Your idea might be sitting near the pool or walking on the beach side. But, this might not be your child’ idea of perfect holiday. For them it might be loitering around, going to the playground and run here and there. Let them enjoy and you enjoy it too.

3. Never keep them hungry-

A hungry child is always cranky. Make sure you carry enough snacks for your child. Even if you feel you might get something to eat, still carry snacks with you. You never know, when you would need them.

4. Relax a bit-

Always remember you are on a holiday. You need to relax and let others relax too. If you find your child playing with sand or mud, let them play. Being dirty won’t make any difference. I remember my daughter doing the same, while we all were out on a holiday. She used to enter the room with mud all over, but then it was fun for her.

5. Never forget them-

There are certain things which you need to carry. You might forget any of your things, but missing out on your child’s things would end you up in a mess. These things are- diapers, newspapers, throwaway bags, change of clothes, biscuits and their favorite toys etc. You can buy toys online and other things too but it is always better to carry these things.

To my mind, these are enough to make your trip a memorable one. Before I forget, always remember you are on a holiday, but still parenting is something that cannot be missed. There might be many hiccups in the end, but that is something which makes a trip more memorable and loving.
