The Junior Study Students Go Shopping
As adults, shopping is not an activity that we give a lot of thought to. It’s something we just know how to do. But we aren't born knowing how to shop for our weekly groceries. It’s a life skill that is taught and learned.
As adults, shopping is not an activity that we give a lot of thought to. It’s something we just know how to do. But we aren’t born knowing how to shop for our weekly groceries. It’s a life skill that is taught and learned.
Therefore The Junior Study children of class V went to a local grocery store “The Upkar Store” to learn how shopping is done. There are so many skills that can be developed with this activity, such as making choices, behaving in a shop, handling money, having a budget and making a shopping list, mental mathematics, using the golden words, queuing, how to read the labels and looking for the MRP, counting and receiving change etc.

All the children had received a little amount of money from their parents or their piggy bags to purchase something nice for themselves or their parents or siblings.
