15 students of Central Public Sr. Sec. School and Nishad Sangeet Sansthan participated in the 11th All India Sangeet Mahostav organised by Shri Sangeet Bharti, Bikaner. Out of a total 53 performances by the students, 48 were selected and awarded.

The competition was held at Bikaner on 3rd, 4th and 5th January in which students performed in classical singing, classical vocal, hymns, folk songs, swar vadya, taal vadya and classical dance etc.

The Music director fo the group Pt. Avadh Kishore Pandey informed that the winners from CPS were Nishad, Pragya, Bhavyam (I); Himja, Satyam, Lakshya and Nikhil (II). From Nishad Sangeet Sansthan winners were Sanskar, Harija, Rajesh, Ishita, Yatharth, Roshit, Jovial and Nikhil Sharma. Also, Pt. Avadh Kishore was also honored at the Mahotsav.

Director of CPS Alka Sharma said that all the winners were welcomed warm-heartedly.
