The Wittians of Grade XI and XII commerce were taken to an educational field trip to Sangam Textile Industries in Bhilwara on Saturday, 2nd May 2015.

The trip was intended to be educational and enriching one allowing the students to learn about new and latest production technologies and application of Principles of Management. The students witnessed the weaving, spinning, denim and the processing units of the Textile Industry.

They also saw the Thermal power Plant of Sangam Industries and learnt about electricity generation process through burning of coal. The students explored dyeing of fiber, conversion of fiber into yarn and yarn into Denim and polyester. They were given the knowledge about the change in fabric quality when treated using different chemicals.

This indeed was the earnest effort of the school and the teachers to motivate the students towards vocational training.
