Udaipur’s pride Mermaid Gauravi Singhvi is all set to create another record. She is in Mumbai where she rehearsed for more than an hour and a half on Sunday night. Gauravi will touch the sea waters in Mumbai at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday to continue till 12:30 p.m.
With a determination to create another record, Gauravi will swim for 9 hours from Juhu Beach to Gateway of India-a distance of 47 kilometres. She is oozing with confidence that the record will be achieved by her and will add to more feathers in Udaipur’s cap. It may be noted that she is the youngest one to have covered 36 kilometres in the Arabian Sea and set a record in swimming. Before leaving for Mumbai, Gauravi practised in Fatehsagar Lake for 8 to 10 hours daily.
Udaipur Times wishes all the very best to Gauravi Singhvi.
