An army man from Eklingarh Cantonment is missing since last 5 days. It has been reported that this army man left from the Cantonment for some personal work but did not return.
Vikram Singh Shekhawat s/o Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat resident of Shri Madhopur returned to Eklingarh four months back after performing his duties at Siachen Glacier. As reported by his father to Surajpole police, Vikram Singh left from Eklingarh on 29th October to get vegetables from market. He did not return to the cantonment after this.
CCTV footage shows Vikram leaving Eklingarh Cant at around 7:30 p.m. He went towards CA circle, left his motorcycle there and walked towards the lane near Mahila Urban Co-operative Bank. After this he was nowhere to be seen. He also withdrew 2000 rupees from the ATM, 1000 at a time.
Vikram Singh was living in Eklingarh Cant with his wife. His father has appealed to him to come back home. The message says, “Your mother and your wife are not well. Come back home soon. You do not have to fear anyone. Nobody will say anything to you.”
